This is historic because the Indian team is currently ranked number one in the rankings in all three formats - T20, ODI, and Test. This is the first time in the history of cricket that any one team is at number-1 position in all three formats at the same time and this history has been created by the Indian team. Team India has made this history under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

Test rankings: India No. 1,115 ratings

The latest rankings are released every Wednesday by the ICC. This was the first time after the Nagpur Test ended that the rankings have been updated, which is why the Indian team has made a huge advancement here. Now India has 115 rating points in Tests, while Australia has reached number-2 and has 111 rating points. This is the first time in cricket history that the team has become number-1 in all three formats simultaneously. The Indian team was already number-1 in T20 and ODI formats, team India was number-2 in Tests before the start of the Test series against Australia, but after the innings and 132-run victory in Nagpur, India also became number-1 here.
