Aussies all-rounder batsmen Jonathan Merlo patience innings of 76 runs against India in the final. As he waits for the ball and dabs it through cover-point. First he brings up his important fifty. A four wickets hauls in the previous match with the ball, and now a half-ton. Australia was three down for 59 in the 12th over. Indian under-19 bowler Anukul Roy has led the show by picked up a couple of wickets in the finals, with 14 wickets in the tournament and his backbreaking five wickets haul against PNG will be talked about for some time. Anukul Roy dismissed Uppal in the final and then go on to dismiss OZ all rounder Jonathan Merlo. Australia loss regular wickets which show the consistency of team India bowler.

India missed golden opportunity when Shiva Singh bowling to Merlo and was dropped. Tough chance for the keeper. Merlo was punching off the back foot and there was a fair deviation off his edge. May have served Desai better if he hadn't got his gloves in the way. Could have gone straight to slip. Would have been tough either way

Leading wicket taker in the tournament Anukul Roy dismissed Uppal by Caught & bowled. The partnership had been broken for the fourth wicket. A slower ball, quicker ball and now another slower ball. It was flighted around the leg-stump line and Uppal was back in his crease to work it through the leg-side. Was a touch early to close his bat-face and the ball popped back to the bowler off the leading edge.
