A great opportunity has emerged for candidates who want to get a job in the Indian Coast Guard. A notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant has been issued by the Indian Coast Guard. This time notification has been issued for recruitment to a total of 50 posts. To apply for the post of Assistant Commandant, the candidates will have to visit the official portal of The Joint Indian Coast Guard - joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.

Details of posts:-
As per the notification issued by the Indian Coast Guard, a total of 50 posts will be filled up. It will fill up 40 posts for general duty. 11 seats in General Duty are for unreserved category candidates. 3 seats have been earmarked for economically weaker category, 7 seats for OBC category candidates, 6 seats for SC category candidates and 13 seats for ST candidates. There will be recruitments to 10 posts of same Technical Engineer and Electrical Engineer.

Educational Qualifications:-
Candidates applying for the post of General Duty in the Indian Coast Guard should have a graduation degree from any recognized university or institution. Graduation requires 60% marks in at least all semesters. Only candidates with math physics subject in the same 12th standard will be eligible for the application. On the other hand, only candidates with diploma in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electronics and Communication or Power Electronics or Industry and Production or Automotive or Marine or Naval Architecture etc. In this also, the applicant is required to pass physics exam math subject from 60% in 12th standard.
