ICICI Bank, a well-known private sector company, has taken a decision during the Corona era. The bank has taken this decision in favor of the employees working in the Corona period. The legendary ICICI Bank is going to reward its 80 thousand employees who are performing duty even in the midst of the Corona crisis. The bank will increase the salary of these employees by 8%. Its benefits will be given to the same employees who were on the front like providing services to customers. However, about 80% of the company's employees are going to get the benefit of this decision.
According to the media report, some senior sources of the bank said that the salary increase is taking place in view of this financial year 2020-21. So that enthusiasm can be increased among the employees but it will be applicable from July. This decision of the bank matters at a time when in the midst of the Corona crisis, large scale companies are retrenching employees and salary cuts are taking place.
The sources said that the employees of M1 grade and below the bank are going to get the benefit of this. These are the employees who provide services to the customers and ensure that the work of the branch of the bank and other works can go on smoothly. Even in the midst of lockdown and corona crisis, many banks like ICICI continue to provide its services every day for limited employees and limited hours only.
