New Delhi: While the second wave of corona virus is on the slope of the country, scientists have been repeatedly raising fears of a third wave. Preparations have begun to reopen schools in many states amidst the third wave of crisis. Meanwhile, ICMR DG Dr Balram Bhargava has made a big point on opening the school.

When asked about the opening of schools due to a press conference of the Health Ministry on Tuesday, Dr Bhargava said that primary schools can be opened initially as the risk of viruses in young children is less than adults. He said many European countries had opened primary schools even amid the growing corona cases. They were not stopped. Therefore, primary schools can be opened initially and then secondary schools can be opened.

At the same time, Dr. Bhargava said, "Young children handle infection much easier than adults." Young children have fewer ACE receptors in their lungs where the infection attacks. Since children have fewer ace receptors, they have seen less infection crisis. But secondly, it has also been observed that 57 out of children between the ages of 6 and 9.2% antibody has been observed, which is equal to close to adult. He also said that many countries in Central Europe in Corona had not closed primary schools at all. Therefore, the instruction are such that primary schools can be opened first and then secondary schools can be opened.
