New Delhi: The number of corona patients in the country has reached beyond 5 thousand. 700 more new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. Amidst the growing cases of corona, the question in everyone's mind is, who has done the corona tests of people across the country till now? India Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has given its answer on Wednesday.

According to ICMR, till April 8, 1 lakh 27 thousand 919 people have been investigated in India. Of this, coronavirus has been confirmed in 5114 people. On Wednesday, 13,143 samples were tested in different testing labs in the country, out of which 320 people were found corona infected. So far, Corona has been tested in 118 testing labs in India.

So far the number of Corona patients has been 5274 in the whole country. The death toll has reached 149. However, 411 patients have returned home after beating the disease. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1135 people infected with corona, while 72 patients have died. In Mumbai alone, the number of patients has been 714, while 45 have died.
