New Delhi: The country is facing a crisis of corona epidemic, with thousands of people dying every day since the second wave hit. Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in a study has claimed that migrant labourers are also responsible for the second wave. It also expanded due to religious events.

According to reports, the ICMR report claims that the movement of migrant labourers and religious events could be the main reasons for the spread of early corona infection. The report said that analysis of sequence of SARS COV 2 between January 2020 and August 2020 has revealed the availability of E484Q mutation in spike proteins. ICMR said three variants of corona virus B1.1.7, Variant of Concern and B1.351 were found in the country. The situation with these variants was very alarming as they reduce immunity.

Let us tell  that lakhs of labourers from many States of North India employ in the metropolitan cities of the country. The lockdown imposed due to corona crisis creates an employment crisis for these labourers. Because of which lakhs of people go back to their states. Along with the labourers, the infection of corona is also likely to reach these States.
