Lucknow: Congress general secretary and party's Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is struggling hard for the up assembly elections, the country's largest state. Priyanka is trying to woo all categories of society. Priyanka Gandhi has been very vocal about issues to women and farmers in the state. So now the Congress has made a big promise to the farmers in the Uttar Pradesh elections. The Congress has claimed that it will buy dung from farmers if the party comes to government. Because in Chhattisgarh, the Congress has implemented this scheme and it is benefiting the farmers a lot.

The same Congress has promised to implement the Godhan Nyaya Scheme on the lines of Chhattisgarh to buy dung from farmers in UP. So that the donors can get rid of the problem of helpless animals. The announcement was made after senior Congress observer and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel issued a white letter. Under which, after the Formation of the Congress Government, it will buy dung from the annadatas and this will help in increasing the income of the farmers.

At the same time, Baghel accused Narendra Modi at the Centre and the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh of betraying farmers. He said the cost of farming has increased further away from doubling the income of farmers due to wrong policies of BJP governments. He said there was a lot of politics in Uttar Pradesh about cows, but the situation is that the farmers of the state are not able to save their crops due to helpless animals. Cows are dying in goshalas in Uttar Pradesh.
