Bangalore: Even after the order of the High Court in Karnataka, the hijab controversy is not taking its name to stop. Now five Muslim girl students have sought Transfer Certificate (TC) from the University College in Hampanakatta here. Please tell that in this college, there is a ban on the wearing of hijab for girl students in the classroom. Muslim students strongly opposed this. Recently, the VC of Mangalore University had announced that the university would make special arrangements for Muslim girl students who would not agree to wear the uniform as per the order of the High Court.

Now college principal Anasuya Rai has told that five Muslim girl students have asked for TC from her. So that they can enroll in those institutions where wearing hijab is allowed. However, the letter submitted by them was incomplete, so the girl students were instructed to bring a new letter. The principal told that till now these girls have not reached with a new application.

At the same time, in the midst of this controversy, all undergraduate classes have been done in online mode. The reason behind this has been given that the evaluation work is going on in the campus. The principal has informed that barring a few girl students, all 44 Muslim undergraduate students are studying and attending classes.
