Mysore: Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has recently targeted the Congress. While giving a statement, he said, "I had been with the Bharatiya Janata Party, he would have been the Chief Minister till now, but all that he had earned by tying up with the Congress was over." These were said by Janata Dal-Secular leader and former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in Mysore. During this time he also said, "I would still have been the Chief Minister if I had maintained good relations with the BJP. Whatever I had achieved in 2006-2007 and in a period of 12 years, I ended up tying up with the Congress party. ''

He continued saying, "When I stepped down as the Chief Minister due to a power struggle with the BJP in 2006, I still had a following and the support of people. After allying with the Congress in 2018, Siddaramaiah and his gang destroyed my reputation. I walked into their trap only because I agreed to the alliance because of Deve Gowda (his father). This betrayal hurt my reputation more than happened with the BJP in 2006. ''

During this time, he also said, "I am not blaming Deve Gowda because he understands and respects his father's lifelong commitment to secular identity." While sitting on the allegations of HD Kumaraswamy, Congress leader Siddaramaiah has also made an allegation. He says, 'Kumaraswamy is an expert in lying, he can lie according to the situation for the sake of politics. Despite the Janata Dal (S) getting 37 seats, was it our fault to make him the Chief Minister?"
