Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Kanpur today i.e. on Friday (December 9). While addressing the Prabuddhajan Sammelan held at VSSD College Ground here, CM Yogi gave an open warning to the miscreants. He said, 'Now some criminal who earlier used to molest sister-daughters at a crossroads. Used to commit dacoity at another crossroads. Will not be able to do it now, because the CCTV camera will capture each and every activity now.'

The Chief Minister further said that 'If someone did mischief or committed a robbery at one intersection, all those photographs would be recorded before heading to the next intersection. By the time they reach the next intersection, the police will detain them.' CM Yogi Adityanath said, 'Kanpur has created a distinct identity for its industry. Some people kept their eyes on Kanpur and this city became a victim of disorder. Kanpur was identified as Mokshadayani. PM Modi himself came to Kanpur and closed the Sisamau drain falling into the Ganga. The drain has been converted into a selfie point. Earlier Ganga used to be polluted in Kanpur, but after the Namami Gange project, the Ganga here is the cleanest. The result of this is that the Ganga remains clean even in Prayagraj.

CM Yogi said that PM Modi started Metro in Kanpur. PM Modi will come here soon to inaugurate the second and third phases of Metro. The main focal point of the Defense Corridor is Kanpur. During this, CM Yogi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 387.59 crore in Kanpur before the civic elections.
