The Indian Air Force (IAF) has also issued short notifications for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 2022). Candidates interested in recruitment to the Air Force can fill the form for the same from June 1, 2022. Candidates will be required to visit the careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in to apply. Through this exam, the recruitment will be done in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) departments in the Indian Air Force. At the same time, recruitment is also going to be made for meteorology entry in metrology branch and NCC special entry in flying branch.

AFCAT 2022 Vacancy Details:-

Age Limit: The age limit of the Flying Officer should be between 20 years to 24 years.

Ground Duty- The age limit for this post should be 20 to 26 years.

Selection- The FCAT 2022 exam will be conducted online. Also, for the ground duty department, the candidate will also have to sit for the engineering knowledge test. The final merit of the selected candidates is to be made on the basis of the performance of AFCAT and AFSB.

Exam Pattern- The paper of the Air Force Common Admission Test is going to be of 300 marks, in which 100 questions can be asked. These questions will be related to topics like General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude. Candidates will be provided 2 hours and 45 minutes for the exam.

Application Fee: In order to apply, the applicants will have to pay Rs.250 as an application fee. There is no application fee for NCC Special Entry and Metrology Entry.

Educational Qualification- Flying Branch - The candidate is required to be 12th pass with 50% marks, Maths and Physics subjects in 12th. At the same time, it is necessary to have a graduation with 60% marks in any discipline from a recognized university. Or in addition, the candidate must have a BE/B.Tech degree with 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Technical) Branch - The applicant must have 12th pass with 50% marks, mathematics and physics subjects in 12th and also 4 years degree/integrated post-graduation in engineering.
