When working, you are bound to meet all kinds of people; some weird, some funny, some friendly, some jealous, and many more. We have come up with a list of some of the common types of colleagues most of us find at the workplace.

The Ever Shining Star

This person has a never-ending enthusiasm towards work, and along with it drags eyeballs with all his invariably correct answers. He or she will be admired by all the seniors owing to the person's excellent performance at work. Personally, everyone dislikes this star performer, but publicly, they can't help acknowledging him.

The Desk-eater

There will be one colleague, who you will find constantly eating at all hours of the day at work. You are never disturbing the person and he or she will have a ready fix for your taste-buds if you so need. Not surprisingly, the desks of such colleagues are occupied as their stomach even at the end of the workday.

The Always Available

This gentleman or woman never seems to leave the office. He is there when you are reaching office, and still there when you are leaving. Whether it is 9 am or 10 pm, this breed of colleagues always appears to be available in the office. This usually means he is the first to arrive and the last to leave.

The Gossip Brewer

Every workplace has at least one employee who keeps info of all the news regarding the office, whether it is about the general working of the organization, or about the employees. These self-proclaimed news reporters or gossip brewers spend more time at the water filter or vending machines than at their desk. Remember, gossip contains exaggerated stories of both, true and false happenings.

The Romeo

Such colleagues instantly attract the attention of the workplace by securing the seat beside a certain beautiful woman. He will frequently be seen chatting up with his female colleagues, trying to spend more time with them. Usually nicknamed as "The Romeo", these individuals often have 100 per cent attendance, neither fall sick nor take an irrelevant number of leaves, whether they are actually working or not.
