After a five-wicket defeat at the hands of the Mighty Ift Panthers in the first match, Ifira Sharks made a strong comeback by defeating MT Bulls and in their second match of the Vanuatu Trophy League 2020 played on Saturday at Vanuatu Cricket Stadium at Hybrid Oval Defeated by four wickets. In the league's third match, Efira Shark won the toss and picked the first fielding.

The start of the MT Bulls innings was poor, he lost three important wickets - Patrick Mataav (0), Clement Tommy (5), Andrew Mansley (0) - within five runs. Subsequently, Phillippe Tsion and Eddie Mansley played key innings of 20 and 23 and took the team to a score of 61 for six in the stipulated 10 overs. Obed Yosef bowled brilliantly for the Ifira Sharks, taking two wickets for two runs. Stephen Sandy, Vince Vira, Apollinaire Stephen and Nalin Nipico all took one wicket each.

In response, opener Nalin Nipiko played an unbeaten and quick inning of 33 runs in 24 balls to give the victory to Ifera Sharks against Mark in just 8.5 overs. Patrick Matataw and Eddie Mansley took two wickets each for MT Bulls, while Andrew Mansley and Godfrey Mangau took one wicket each.
