The candidates can check their IFS (Mains) results on the official website www.upsc.gov.in, declared by UPSC.

The personality test is likely to be conducted on February 27.

Earlier, the examination was conducted from December 3 to December 9 for the recruitment to the following posts.

2. Enter all the required details such as registration number and password

3. Click on submit

4. Results will be displayed

5. Take a print out for further reference

The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview -- to select officers of the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

The civil services exam consists of the following two stages:

1. Civil services (preliminary) examination (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination

2. Civil services (main) examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts
