Top-ranked Poland's Iga Świątek defeated Russia's Daria Casatkina to advance to the women's singles final of the French Open Tennis Grand Slam here on Thursday. The top-ranked Świątek has made it to the final of the French Open for the second time. Świątek won 6-2, 6-1 over 20th-ranked Kasatkina in the semi-finals, which has also won 34 matches in a row. Iga Świątek scored 22 winners while Kasatkina could score only 10 winners.

Świątek's 'Unfocussed' mistakes were 13. Now, in Saturday's final, she will face the winner of the match between 18 of the United States, Coco Goff and Italy's Martina Trevisan. Świątek had won the Roland Garros Trophy in 2020 and now his attempt is going to be to get a second title on red gravel. Świątek, who has won his last five tournaments, had only suffered a defeat to 2017 French Open champion Yelena Ostapenko in February.

Świątek, the only Polish player to win a Major singles title in tennis, has now reached the level of Serena Williams in terms of winning in a row, who has also won 34 wins in 2013. Venus Williams is at the forefront of the case of registering the most consecutive wins, having also won 35 in 2000. In the semi-finals of the men's section, 13-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal will face third seed Alexander Zverev on Friday and 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic will take on Casper Rudd.
