IIFA salutes Bollywood's Surma Bhopali, this veteran arrived on wheelchair to receive award

Many comedy films have been seen by all of us in Hindi cinema and in these comedy films there have been many actors who have made us laugh. One of the most popular comedian is  Saeed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey aka Jagdeep. Known for his once-in-a-lifetime films and best comedy, Jagdeep has also attended this year's IIFA Awards.

Jagdeep was awarded for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema at IIFA 2019. Let us know that he has been given a tribute by all the actors in IIFA and Jagdeep arrived on this occasion to receive the award in a wheelchair. He was accompanied by his son and actors Javed Jaffrey, Naved Jaffrey and his grandson Meijan Jaffrey on stage. Jagdeep has been given the title of Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema by director Ramesh Sippy and actor Ranveer Singh.

We should also make you aware that Jagdeep is better known for the character of Surma Bhopali in the film Sholay. This character was so famous that a separate film was made in it and apart from this, he did strong work in other films with the film Brahmachari, Andaz Apna Apna, Bombay to Goa, etc.
