The National Examination Agency (NTA - National Testing Agency) has released the JEE Main January Exam Result on 17 January 2020 itself. Meanwhile, there is also good news for students seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Technology. Seats for undergraduate courses have increased in IITs. The same decision has been taken by IIT Bhubaneshwar. Here, 70 seats of engineering UG courses have been increased. Candidates will get the benefit of these increased seats from this academic session. According to the report, after increasing the number of seats, now IIT Bhubaneswar has a total of 490 seats in 7 schools. Earlier the total number of UG seats here was 420.

According to the institute, these steps have been taken to provide the benefit of admission to students and girls belonging to economically weaker sections. Of the 70 seats extended with this, 18 are reserved for the economically weaker section. While 52 seats can be reserved for women candidates under women quota.
