New Delhi: The monsoon is eagerly awaited in the country's capital, Delhi. The MET department (IMD) has forecast that there may be an entry of monsoon in Delhi soon. The IMD has informed that the Southwest monsoon may arrive in Delhi on June 30 or July 1. Due to this, the maximum temperature of the capital will also fall on Thursday and the mercury may go down by six degrees Celsius tomorrow as compared to Wednesday.

Let us know that Delhi has been getting continuously sticky and sultry heat for the past few days, due to which people are waiting for the rain. The temperature in the capital remains above 40 degrees. However, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted light rain in the capital on Wednesday. Today's maximum temperature can reach 41 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature can be up to 29 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, there is no possibility of getting relief from the sultry heat today. On Thursday, the capital's temperature will come down and it will drop to 35 degrees Celsius. Moderate rain is expected in the capital tomorrow.  

Delhi's maximum temperature is expected to drop further on July 1 and may drop to 33 degrees Celsius. The entry of the monsoon is expected in Delhi only on June 30 or July 1. The temperature will remain around 35 degrees Celsius till July 5. There is also a possibility of rain with it.
