People waiting for the monsoon got relief on Thursday morning when several areas received heavy rains. There has also been a relief from the sultry heat that has been falling for the past several days due to the rain. A thunderstorm alert has also been sounded in areas of Delhi-NCR today. Let me tell you that for the past several days, the temperature of the capital was around 40 degrees. The MET department has predicted that the temperature will drop by 6 to 7 degrees Celsius today.
