New Delhi: North Indian states, including Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, which are facing severe heat, are eagerly awaiting the monsoon these days. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has given good news about the monsoon. The Met department has said that the southwest monsoon has moved further over some more parts of the central Arabian Sea, east Goa, parts of Konkan and some parts of Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for the next 5 days in some of the districts.

According to the information provided by the IMD, heavy rainfall is forecast in northeast India and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for the next 5 days. Bihar and Jharkhand are likely to receive rain for the next two days. In a tweet, the Meteorological Department said that the entry of the monsoon has already taken place in Mumbai. It has rained in parts of Mumbai today. After the onset of the monsoon in Mumbai, people in Delhi are now waiting for rain. According to the IMD, the monsoon is moving at a reasonable pace.

According to the Met department, Mumbai will continue to receive thundershowers till June 14. Today, the minimum temperature in Mumbai was recorded at 26 degrees and the maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees. While rain is likely to occur in several states on one side, heat wave conditions are expected to continue in isolated parts of northwest, central and adjoining east India for the next two days.
