New Delhi: Many states in the country are facing severe heat wave and heat waves these days. According to the Met department, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in one or two parts of northwest Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, and Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and eastern Uttar Pradesh. However, the IMD has expressed hope that the weather will be moderately cold some of the first few months of the monsoon. At present, the maximum temperature in the entire country, including the national capital Delhi, remains around 43-44 degrees.  

According to the IMD, there may be some respite from the heat wave in some parts of northwest India, including Delhi-NCR, on June 11-12. It will be cloudy over the weekend, but there is no forecast of rain. The IMD has said that the maximum temperature will remain between 40 degrees and 43 degrees till June 15. The southwest monsoon has taken an entry into Goa. Which has been delayed by a few days from the forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the IMD, conditions are now becoming favourable for the further advance of monsoon over south Maharashtra, parts of Karnataka, the rest of Tamil Nadu, and some parts of South Andhra Pradesh and some more parts of west-central and the north-west Bay of Bengal.

According to the Met department, today's minimum temperature in Delhi could be 30 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be up to 43 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the country's capital has remained at 43 degrees Celsius for the past several days. Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh is likely to have a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on June 11. There will be bright sunshine in the sky. If we talk about Patna in Bihar, then today's minimum temperature here is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 39 degrees Celsius. All the states of North India have no hope of getting any relief from the scorching sun throughout the day and there is no hope of getting relief from the heat.
