New Delhi: After a few days of relief, the heatwave is once again returning to many states of the country. According to the Met department, heatwave conditions in Rajasthan, north Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, west Madhya Pradesh, south Haryana-Delhi and Punjab will again add to the woes of the people. The IMD has warned of heatwaves in the country's capital Delhi and NCR for the next five days.

If we talk about today's temperature, the minimum temperature in Delhi on May 9 is expected to be 25 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 41 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad in Gujarat is likely to be 29 degrees and the maximum temperature is likely to be 42 degrees. Mostly amidst the heatwave in the states of North India, the rise in temperature will further heat up. According to IMD's forecast, the maximum temperature can go up to 44 degrees Celsius.

At the same time, the minimum temperature in UP's capital Lucknow is likely to be 27 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 38 degrees today. In Ghaziabad, the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 41 degrees. According to the Met department, there is a heatwave warning in some parts of Vidarbha, west Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan from May 9 to 12. At the same time, the heatwave is likely to run in south Haryana-Delhi and Punjab between May 10 and 14.
