New Delhi: It is going to be extremely cold in December as the weather is going to take a turn once again after November 30. According to the MET department, western disturbances are likely to affect northwest and adjoining central India from November 30. Rain is expected in several states of northwest and adjoining central India, which may lead to cold wave conditions.

According to the MET department, the impact of western disturbances can be seen in Gujarat, Maharashtra and southwest Madhya Pradesh and south Rajasthan. That is, some areas of these states may receive thundershowers. According to IMD, Gujarat is expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall in early December. West Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive light to moderate rain accompanied by thundershowers.

Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive rain accompanied by snowfall on December 2. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep areas in the south are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall. With this, heavy rain is expected in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema during the next 2 days.
