New Delhi: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the weather of the coming days. The hilly states are going to receive snowfall with rain, due to which the cold will increase in north India. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Himachal Pradesh will receive moderate rainfall and snowfall on November 6, 7, 9 and 10, the IMD said. Apart from this, Uttarakhand will receive snowfall and rain on November 6 and 7. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in Punjab on November 6 and 7.

At the same time, there is a possibility of very heavy rain and snowfall in the Kashmir Valley on November 6. At the same time, talking about South India, rains are still continuing in many states here. According to the Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe will receive moderate rainfall on November 6. After this, the rainfall activities will decrease. Andaman and Nicobar are going to receive rain for three days from November 6 to 8. Additionally, a low-pressure area is very likely to form over the southwest Bay of Bengal off the Sri Lanka coast around November 9, 2022. It is very likely to move northwestwards towards the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts with a possible minor intensity during the subsequent 48 hours.

On Sunday, Delhi recorded 'very poor' air quality, while the minimum temperature settled at 17.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. According to central pollution control board (CPCB) data, Delhi's overall air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 331 at 10.30 am. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor,' and 401 and 500 'severe'. The IMD said the relative humidity at 8.30 am was 91 per cent.
