Lord Rama may have killed Ravana in Tretayuga, although Ravan is still alive in the form of many evils in Kalyug.
This major festival of Dussehra or Vijayadashami informs us that we can make life beautiful, simple and much better only by destroying the evil form Ravana. Even today in our society, as Ravan, countless evils like inflation, violence, discrimination, envy, environmental pollution, corruption, adultery, dishonesty, sexual violence and sexual exploitation have spread such as Ravan.
