The country has imposed anti-dumping duty on some steel products imported from China, Vietnam and South Korea. India has imposed a duty on such flat-rolled steel products coming from these countries, on which aluminium and zinc coating has been applied. In an order issued on Tuesday by the government, it has been said that these products have been charged from $ 13.07 to $ 173.10 per ton. In the release issued by the government, it has been said that these charges have been imposed for the next five years.

In a few days India has taken many steps to protect its domestic industry and to promote local manufacturing. These steps are being taken by the government to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of making the country self-reliant. The imposition of anti-dumping duty on imported goods from these three countries is also being seen as a revenge for the recent skirmish on the India-China border. In the recent border conflict, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. Since then, there is a lot of resentment against Chinese goods in India.

On the other hand, cases of coronavirus are increasing rapidly in the country. During the last 24 hours, about 16 thousand new cases have been reported and 465 people have also died during this period. As the number of people infected with the virus increases, the graph of people recovering is also increasing rapidly. So far, more than 2.58 lakh people have become completely healthy. More than five thousand people have lost their lives.
