Islamabad: The troubles of former Pakistan PM Imran Khan do not seem to have subsided. Imran Khan can be arrested at any time. The police have once again become active and have started a siege to arrest Imran. Earlier, cricketer-turned-politician Imran was given a big setback by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday (February 15), which cleared the way for his arrest. 

In fact, Imran is being prosecuted for protesting outside the Election Commission, according to the court order, he was to appear in court on dates, but he did not appear. He had filed a bail application in the court, which was rejected by the ATC. Now the police of two states have arrived to arrest Imran. According to the report, Lahore police along with Islamabad police reached Imran's residence in Zaman Park, but could not arrest him. A huge crowd of Imran's supporters was seen outside his house, who were shouting slogans against the Shehbaz government and calling Imran's arrest illegal. However, the police have turned Zaman Park into a cantonment and cordoned off the entire area.

According to sources, a heavy police force is deployed in Qila Gujar Singh and police lines and all nearby police stations have been instructed to remain alert. Checkpoints have been set up along the route through which they are planned to be arrested and heavy forces have been deployed on Islamabad's Mall Road, Jail Road, and the streets of Garhi Sahu. The police team is also patrolling Jaman Park.
