The IPL is the title of world's largest T20 league. So far, 12 successful seasons of IPL have been played and its 13th season is starting from the month of September. However, before that the CPL i.e. Caribbean Premier League is ready to make a splash. Many foreign players will be seen playing in this league, although only Imran Tahir from South Africa is going to be a part of this league. Africa's Rasi Van Dar Dusain, Tabrez Shamsi, Enrique Nortje, Riley Russo, and Colin Ingram are not playing this season of this tournament.

Imran Tahir had been staying in Pakistan since the lockdown, although he has now left Pakistan for the tournament. Currently, he is spending time in quarantine. Due to the Corona epidemic, great care is being taken. The Caribbean Premier League, which begins on 18 August, will conclude on 10 September.

A total of 33 matches are to be played in this tournament lasting 23 days. The final match to be played on September 10 will be the 33rd match. Only 6 teams will participate in CPL 2020. Two matches will be played on the first day of the start of the season. Where in the first match, Trinibago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors, while in the second match, defending champions Barbados Tridents and St. Keats and Nevis Patriot will face each other. Out of 33 matches, 23 matches are to be played at Brian Lara Cricket Academy of Tarauba and 10 matches at Queens Park Oval in Port of Spain.
