Imtiaz Ali, a well-known filmmaker of Hindi cinema presented the real picture of women empowerment in his films decades ago. From films like 'Jab We Met' to 'Love Aaj Kal', Imtiaz brought a change in the perspective of love. Also, movies often teach people how to romance. But Imtiaz did not impart knowledge to the people through his films, but in his characters, he sowed the seeds of love that flourished in the society.

This scene is enough to highlight the uniqueness of Kareena's character in this film, and she is a fast-paced and outspoken girl who challenges the law of the world at every step. Along with this, the character played by Kareena in 2005 is still a role model for new actors and audiences. Deepika Padukone worked with Imtiaz in more than two films. Imtiaz himself has revealed that when Deepika did not even start working in films, he wanted to work with her. Deepika's character in Imtiaz's films was challenging both on screen and in filming. Through the same Meera Pandit of 'Love Aaj Kal', Veronica of 'Cocktail' and Tara Singh of 'Tamasha', Imtiaz had made it clear that in each of the films associated with her, her women were seen as women living on their own terms.  During this time, she was seen breaking down and sometimes recovering. Along with this, she was also seen encouraging the heroes when needed. The beauty of these characters was also that they were threaded from the perspective of women of the same fame.
