London: A London court heard on Wednesday that actor Kevin Spacey admitted to British police that he had never groped anyone but claimed to have had numerous one-night stands with people from the theatre industry and might have made some awkward passes at people.

At Southwark Crown Court, the Oscar-winning actor is on trial for a dozen counts of historic sex offences against four men who were then in their 20s and 30s that were committed in Britain between 2001 and 2013.

The prosecution has labelled the 63-year-old as a sexual bully, but the accusers claim he aggressively groped them or once engaged in sex with the complainant unconscious.

The second accuser, an aspiring actor, claims he woke up in Spacey's London flat to find himself being assaulted. Spacey also claimed he could not recall the second accuser.

In his statement, Spacey said, "I'm certain that I did not attempt to perform... on anyone who fell asleep in my flat." He also said he had never engaged in any uninvited acts.

In his statement, he acknowledged having consensual relations with some aspiring actors and mentioning that "vast" numbers of people would have attended the numerous social events he hosted in his flat.

He claimed that he had "numerous consensual one-night stands with members of the theatre world in my property," and that he therefore could not rule out the possibility that the man had visited and experienced sexual contact there. In addition, he claimed that the man's solicitors had gotten in touch with him asking for a payment of more than 450,000 pounds.

Spacey said it was "entirely possible and indeed likely" that he may have made an awkward pass at someone at some point in regards to the third alleged victim, a man he met in a pub close to Oxford in central England who claims the actor assaulted him later at the nearby property where the actor was staying.

He claimed, "I have certainly never attempted to grab anyone's crotch while making a pass," but added that if he believed they were giving their consent, he might have touched them.

Spacey admitted to being "baffled and deeply hurt" by the final accuser's allegations, a driver who claims Spacey touched him about 12 times.
