In Greater Noida Class 12 students physically assault minor after he denies to 'salute' them

Lucknow: A terrible case reported from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh wherein a Class 10 student of a private school was allegedly assaulted by his seniors on Friday after he denied to 'salute' them. The police officials have registered a non-cognisable report in the issue.

Report in Hindustan Times suggested that  the incident took place on Friday around 12 pm, outside the school. The sufferer went to a nearby stationery shop, where he was blocked by his four seniors. The senior students then physically assaulted him using sticks and blunt things.

The sufferer told the HT that these were those  students whom he said no to 'salute' in the morning. Meanwhile, the sufferers elder brother stated the national daily that the Class 12 boys were standing at the gate while his brother was coming to the school.

They blocked his way and told why he did not salute them since they were seniors. Afterward, they threatened him of terrible consequences.

In the afternoon, they got a chance and physically assaulted him. The sufferer has got injuries on his head because of the attack, victim's brother further said. The victim's family moved the police after their son came back with bruises.

Although the police officials have registered a complaint against the accused under the sections of the Indian Penal Code and the further probe in the case is underway.
