MUMBAI: In the web series "Hasratein," Krishna Mukherjee plays a strong girl who chooses to live life on her terms without regard for her family or society.  "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Krishna Mukherjee will be seen in the role.

She said that because the story reflects her own experiences, she can relate to it.

By Krishna: "I can identify with the story. When I was in college, a friend of mine who was well-known for her grin was concealing her suffering behind that lovely smile. She was denied the chance to pick her mate, and my tale follows a similar pattern." The 30-year-old actor is well-known for her parts in "Kuch Toh Hai," "Yeh Hai Aashiqui," "Shubh Shagun," and numerous other films.

She continued by mentioning how frequently women are made to choose their spouses or get married against their will. "The persistence of such behaviours in our culture is depressing. I used my own experiences to play Jyoti, a strong girl who decided to stand up for herself in a patriarchal society " she added.

Adaa Khan, Krishna Mukherjee, Ravi Bhatia, Vin Rana, Shilpa Tulaskar, Sana Sayyad, Siddharth Sharma, Ayussh Anand, and Sahil Uppal are all featured in the series. The stream will be available on Hungama Play.
