On this incident, a colleague of CM Yeddyurappa denied the fact that the bed was not available in the hospital and said that he did not go to any hospital and came directly in front of the CM residence. He said that later an ambulance was arranged to take the family to the hospital. 

Within the last fifteen days in Bangalore, the number of infected people has tripled. A lockdown has been imposed for one-week in Bengaluru. The lockdown commences in Mangalore and Dakshina Kannada district. Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Karnataka and the number of patients has reached 45 thousand.
