The 70-80-room administration building of the State Medical College was hit by a Guldar early Sunday morning, with NO MBBS students in the building as it was Sunday. But a meeting of college staff was scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. the same day. There were only a few employees in the building that day and when Guldar entered the building in the morning, he injured an employee, after which the security guards closed all the five gates of the building.

After the incident, the forest department and police administration reached the building and tried to locate Guldar. But in the absence of resources, two employees were again injured by Guldar. The forest department then planned to cage Guldar, but the Guldar was not imprisoned in the cages. Being in Guldar's building, all the academic activities of the medical college had to be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
