Bihar to have political drama, RJD growing closer to Nitish's party

Patna: The main opposition party in Bihar is engaged in increasing its closeness to the ruling JDU through the caste census. Rashtriya Janata Dal's state president Jagdanand Singh has given an 'open offer' to JDU by promising to support it in this case. Rashtriya Janata Dal spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari is claiming 'Khela Hona' is certain to be in Bihar politics after January 14.

In the same situation, all eyes are now on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Rashtriya Janata Dal National Vice President and senior leader Shivanand Tiwari said on Friday, "Personally, he will be happy that Nitish should leave the BJP. What could be more important is that Tejashwi Yadav has guaranteed to support him outside the House and inside the House.''

The same Tiwari says that caste census is not an issue today. Lalu Prasad, Sharad Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav have been raising the issue in the past. At that time, Nitish Kumar was accompanied by the caste census.  Nitish has still spoken from all forums that caste census is in the interest of the nation. He has also met PM Narendra Modi along with an all-party delegation from Bihar. Now if they are not able to do so because of the BJP's displeasure, it will be a matter of opinion. RJD state president Jagdanand Singh on Thursday made it clear that RJD is with JDU on issues taken for the welfare of Bihar. He said that Rashtriya Janata Dal will stand with Nitish on the caste census, but Nitish's allies are taking a different stand on the census, ministers who do not support Nitish Kumar's policy should be removed, it is under the jurisdiction of CM.
