IN THE BUDGET OF 2016-17 GOVERNMENT ALLOTTED RS 1400 CRORE FOR DMIC PROJECT

For the development of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial corridor government has allotted Rs. 1400 n the budget of 206-17. The DMIC project has been planned as a investment and a global manufacturing destination around the speed of 1483 km length of western dedicated freight corridor of the Railways as the back bone.

Although token amount of Rs.300 cr is set aside by finance minister Arun Jaitly for the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor(AKIC).

DMIC project is started to provide modern smart futuristic and sustainable industrial cities across the 6 cities of Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Although AKIC project is also started to provide industrial bost.

Accordin to budget document , around Rs. 4362.8 Cr for next fiscal and higher then Rs. 4338.65 Cr. Has been give to Department Of Commerce. Apart from this Allotment of Rs. 3026.55 Cr. From Rs. 2435.75 Cr to previous budget has been given to Department Of industrial Policy and Promotion.

Furthur for “MAKE IN INDIA” project, the Government has allotted Rs. 324.35 Cr. In the Budget of 2016-2017
