Sheopur: A shocking incident is coming to the fore from Sheopur in Madhya Pradesh, where the police have arrested Abdul Qasim. He is accused of raping a woman, making obscene videos, and extorting money. The victim says that in the name of deleting the video, Abdul was pressurizing her to convert to Islam. The complaint of the matter was made on Sunday (8 January 2023).

According to media reports, the incident is from the Jayshree Palace area of ​​Sheopur. The 22-year-old victim has lodged a police complaint against Shanu alias Abdul Qasim. In the complaint, the BSC pass victim has told that she teaches in a private school. Auto driver Abdul Qasim is a resident of her locality. It has been told in the complaint that on November 2, 2018, the victim was going to school. Abdul called her inside the house on the pretext of teaching his elder brother's children. As soon as she entered the house, Abdul started misbehaving with her by closing the door. When the victim raised an alarm, he played the music system loudly. After that, he raped her and made a video of her.

The victim has told that Abdul raped her several times by threatening to make the pornographic video viral. Also started recovering money from her by blackmailing and threatening her. The victim gave a total of Rs 4 lakh 70 thousand to Qasim by borrowing from her salary, mother's savings, and elder sister. She asked Qasim to delete her video. It is alleged that Qasim put a condition in front of the victim to convert to Islam instead of deleting the video. At the same time, he proposed to marry her and keep her as his second wife. In the complaint, the girl has said that being troubled by the harassment, she has also attempted suicide several times. Abdul had also threatened to kill her along with her family if she complained to the police. At last the girl told the whole thing to her mother after two and a half years. Mother informed the people of Vishwa Hindu Parishad about the incident and all reached the police station. On the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the criminal Shanu alias Abdul Qasim and sent him to jail. Action has been taken against the culprit under sections 376, 366, 384, and 506 of IPC.
