USA: According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp may soon enable video messaging. It is important to separate the feature from shared video media files.

You can't save video messages or forward them to other chats like you can with pictures or videos. Given that the feature is still being developed, we may have to wait longer.

The number of WhatsApp users worldwide has crossed two billion. Due to its widespread use, the Meta-owned app is constantly being improved.

New group-related features were added to the app earlier this week, and now we're hearing about the addition of video messages, which is another important feature. We believe that WhatsApp can be improved by adding a video messaging feature.

Sending voice clips and video messages both follow the same steps.
You must press the camera button to record a video message in the same way as recording voice notes.

You will be able to take screenshots of these messages but will not be able to save or forward them. Up to 60 seconds can be spent on a video message.

Video messages will be end-to-end encrypted, just like calls and messages sent through WhatsApp, so that only the sender and the recipient can view the messages.

The new function is being worked on and will be included in the iOS 23.6.0.73 beta update. This feature may be introduced by WhatsApp in the near future.

A new Windows desktop app was just released by Meta owned Applications. Among other improvements, the new version of the app offers better calling features.

You can now make audio calls with up to 32 people and video calls with up to eight people. You can use the app even when your phone is off as it supports multi-device sync.

As part of update 2.23.7.4, WhatsApp is testing a feature that limits polls to one option on the Android beta version. The poll composer on the app now has the option to "Limit to only one option".
