New Delhi: The Congress accused the government of a "cover-up" of corruption in the Rafale deal after French media portal Mediapart published a report alleging bribes were paid to middlemen to secure the deal. Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress president who has questioned the Rafale plane deal, has tweeted a report on alleged bribes paid to a middleman in the deal.’’

"When the truth is with you every step of the way, there is nothing to fear. My colleagues in Congress continue to fight the central government's corruption. Don't get tired, don't stop, and don't be afraid!" In a Hindi tweet with the hashtag 'Rafale scam,' Rahul Gandhi said.

The party leader Pawan Khera said that the BJP government sacrificed national security and jeopardised the interests of the Indian Air Force.
