The driver of Balamau passenger train has categorically refused to take the train due to lack of sleep. Due to which the passengers had to face problems. On Thursday, Balamau Passenger arrived at Shahjahanpur railway station at around one o'clock in the night by three and a half hours.
The driver who had brought the train from Balamau was supposed to take the train back to Balamau in the morning, but he refused to take the train on Friday morning when the driver could not get enough sleep due to late arrival at night. He said he was going to take the train only when he was finished asleep. The train was scheduled to leave at Shahjahanpur at 7 am but remained at the station till 9.30 am. Due to which passengers have suffered. When the driver was asleep, He came from Roja to Shahjahanpur to pick up the train and took the fast from here. Another driver from Roja took the train to Balamau.
Station Superintendent JP Singh said that loco pilots from Balamau take this train to Roza. The same loco pilot takes the train back in the morning after a night's rest in Roza. The loco pilot had refused to take the train in the morning due to lack of night rest when he was finished asleep and took the train.
