In Vienna, Iran rules out the possibility of an interim deal

According to a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, an interim agreement is not being considered in ongoing discussions in the Austrian capital of Vienna aimed at restoring the 2015 nuclear deal.

"The Iranian team is working to reach a long-term and genuine deal," the source said on Saturday.

Russia has discussed on a possible interim nuclear deal with Iran in over the last week as part of efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear pact, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which involves limited lifting of anti-Iran sanctions and re-imposition of certain restrictions on Iran's nuclear activities.
