However, there are many things that you can eat to strengthen your blood vessels.

These things strengthen the blood vessels: -


* Berries- Berries are rich in antioxidants, especially an antioxidant called anthocyanin, which works to improve blood vessel function. Anthocyanin levels are found to be very high in blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries.

* Leafy vegetables- Leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale etc. are found in abundance in nitrates, which can help improve blood flow and reduce blood pressure. They are also rich in Vitamin K, which helps prevent hardening of the arteries.

* Tomatoes: - An antioxidant called lycopene is found in abundance in tomatoes. These antioxidants present in tomatoes help in improving the function of blood vessels and reducing inflammation. Along with this, Vitamin C is also found in plenty in tomatoes, which prevents hardening of the arteries.
