In Karnataka, there has been a sudden increase in the death toll of people under the age of fifty due to corona infection. Till now the death toll in this age group was considered to be modest, but now they are about a quarter of all deaths, which is much more than in the previous months. Experts believe that reducing the number of deaths of people of this age of corona infection in the following weeks will be the most important aspect.

Member of Karnataka Corona Task Force, Dr. CN Manjunath said in this regard that many young and middle aged people are getting more deaths. We have found that 15 percent to 20 percent suffer from heart disease because corona is also a disease that promotes blood clot formation. Sometimes clots are formed not only in the lungs but also in the heart. Young people may be the cause of death due to illness. While sub-clinical heart involvement is around 30 percent or more, clinical participation is around 10 percent to 15 percent. Corona infection can also cause heart attacks.

Experts say that during the coronavirus, many hard substances are given to the patient, which can cause damage to the arteries. Manjunath further explained that in the investigations conducted in China and recently published studies, up to 27 percent of them have been shown to cause heart damage.
