Chandigarh: The Haryana government has announced an increase in the pension by gifting gifts to retired employees of aided colleges in the state. CM Manohar Lal Khattar has increased the honorary pension of retired teaching and non-teaching staff by 5% in aided colleges in the state. This increase will take place every year and will benefit from 1st November 2021.
For your information, retired teachers and employees from aided colleges have been demanding an increase in pension for some time now. At present, the retired Principal is getting a monthly pension of Rs.30,000, the retired professor rs.25,000, the non-teaching class-3 Rs.11,000 and the non-teaching class-4 Rs.6,000. The increase in pension of all of them by 5% per annum will be applicable.
Earlier, honorary pension was being given only to teaching and non-teaching employees who retired from Aided College after 11th May 1998. On the demand of the employees who retired before 1998, it was CM Khattar who decided to give honorary pension to the staff who retired from 1St January 1988 to 10th May 1998. A lot of retired employees are benefiting from this.
