New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away at AIIMS hospital around 12 pm yesterday. Jaitley was also famous in the world of cricket. Team India play in black-striped on the third day of Antiga Test against West Indies. The BCCI mourns the passing away of Jaitley. He was an obsessive cricket fan. He will always be remembered as one of the competent and respected administrators of cricket.

BCCI treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary suggests that the players should be black-striped and played. It was also accepted by BCCI administrators' committee and CEO Rahul Johri. Earlier, Team India captain Virat Kohli also mourned the death of Jaitley. Arun Jaitley had been associated with cricket for a long time. He was the President of the Delhi District Cricket Association for a long time.

He also held the post of BCCI Vice President. Many cricketers in Delhi remember him for his support and help to Jaitley. In his condolence message, Virender Sehwag said that apart from him, many sportspersons, led by Jaitley, had the opportunity to represent India. Former cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir described him as a father. Jaitley was very close to Sehwag and Gambhir. Indian captain Virat Kohli also expressed grief over his passing away.
