Ranchi: The third match of the three-Test series between India and South Africa has started today i.e. Saturday. A strange incident occurred in this match. The captain and vice-captain of the South African team came together on the field to win the toss. In this way, there were a total of three captains on the field, including captain Virat Kohli. Faf du Plessis, the regular Test captain of the South African team, brought his team's vice-captain, Temba Bavuma, for the toss, but disappointment took place.

Sourav Ganguly said this about India-Pakistan cricket relations

Team India captain Virat Kohli singled out both captains (Faf du Plessis and Proxy captain Temba Bavuma) alone and won the toss and chose to bat first. The visiting team South Africa captain Faf du Plessis had already revealed that he would arrive on the field to toss with someone else in the last Test match, as he has not been fortunate in more than half a dozen Test matches. As captain Faf du Plessis, he has lost the toss in all the seven last Test matches played out of the home for the South African team. It is also surprising that out of this, they have lost 6 Test matches, while the seventh Test match is being played in Ranchi.
