New Delhi: In the third Test being played between India and South Africa in Ranchi, the Indian team's vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has delivered a brilliant performance. Rahane has scored the 11th century of his Test career against South Africa. Rahane scored 100 runs in 169 balls with the help of 14 fours and 1 six. Ajinkya Rahane had a strikerate of 59.17 during this period. Apart from this, he has also shared more than 200 runs with Rohit Sharma.

Ajinkya Rahane, who was in the top 10 in the ICC Test rankings, scored his last Test century in India in 2016. After October 2016, the second century in October 2019 comes off Rahane's bat. During that time Rahane scored an innings of 188 runs against New Zealand. However, this is Rahane's second consecutive century in the second series.

Earlier, he scored a century against New Zealand. Rahane has completed the third Test century against South Africa. Earlier, he had got the maximum number of two centuries against any country. Rahane has scored 2–2 centuries against New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies so far. At the same time, he has been able to hit a century against Australia and England.
