Dharamshala: The first match of the three T20 matches series between India and South Africa will be played on 15 September i.e. today. The match will be played at Dharamshala at 7 pm. While Virat Kohli is being commanded by the Indian team, the command of the visiting team is with Quinton de Kock. The players of the South Africa team have been practicing at the HPCA Stadium for the last three-four days. Team India, which arrived on Friday, practiced fiercely in the field on Saturday.

There is a huge enthusiasm among the youth to watch the match starting at 7 pm on Sunday. Earlier, India lost in a T20 match played between the two teams in Dharamsala on October 2, 2015. Apart from this, a total of four ODIs have been played at this stadium so far.

However, the India-Pakistan match of the T20 World Cup was postponed due to the protest here. Dharamshala Maidan has a seating capacity of about 22.5 thousand spectators. Online tickets have been booked for the match.

Offline tickets were also sold at the box office of HPCA Cricket Stadium. India-South Africa teams will face off again after four years at Dharamshala Stadium. In 2015, both teams have clashed on this fastpitch in T20 matches. Apart from losing in that match, the Indian team also had to lose the series 2–0.

South African team- Quinton de Kock (captain), Rassie Van der Dussen, Temba Bavuma, Jr. Dala, Björn Fortuin, Buren Hendrix, Reeza Hendrix, David Miller, Anrich Notreje, Andile Felukwayo, Dwayne Pretorius, Kagiso Rabada, Tabrez Shamsi, Georges Linde .
