Jamaica: There are many records made in the two-Test series played between India and West Indies. India won the Jamaican Test and won the series 2–0. A unique incident took place in this match which happened for the first time in cricket history. In fact, on the fourth day of the second Test, West Indies batsman Daren Bravo returned from the field. Due to Jamaican weather and temperature, Darren Bravo had been fizzed on the field and taken him off the field.

Bravo has been called retired hurt, but after some time, an official announcement has been made that now Daren Bravo will not come out to bat, he will be replaced by another player as a CONCUSSION SUBSTITUTE BATTER. The West Indies Cricket Board has tweeted that Jermaine Blackwood will now bat in this match in place of Bravo. When the fourth wicket of the West Indies innings fell, Jermaine Blackwood came out to bat as the 12th player.

Darren Bravo retired in this match by making 23 runs in 41 balls. This is the first time in the history of cricket. The ICC has now implemented this rule in international cricket that if a player hits with a ball somewhere around the head and complains of unconsciousness, then that player can go out of the field and instead the team can seed a player , but he should be the same (batsman if batsman, bowler if bowler, all-rounder or all-rounder).
